We are passionate about our history, we enjoy telling you all about ourselves, making your visit here even more of a unique experience.
Alps, north-eastern Trentino, Val di Fassa is one of the most famous valleys of the Dolomites, consisting of 7 municipalities: Moena, Soraga, Vigo di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa, Mazzin, Campitello di Fassa and Canazei, and surrounded by the biggest massifs of the Dolomites: the Sella Group, Sassolungo, Catinaccio and Marmolada.
Popular tradition here is very strong with fables and legends that recount the formation of the majestic Dolomite peaks.
The Ladin Museum in Sèn Jan di Fassa is a magical place to discover the traditions, language and culture of our lands. The Ladinis are part of a community scattered across five valleys, where even with their differences, the dialects of Gardena, Badia, Fassa, Livinallongo and Ampezzo, represent local varieties of the same language, one which has an independent position among the neo-Latin languages.
